Thermal and Flow Analysis

Melt flow index, viscosity values and heat behavior of our products are tested. The melt flow index of the polymers is measured at different temperatures and weights. The temperature is between 190 ° C and 350 ° C. For this reason, more than one device is used for different polymers in our product portfolio. In particular, the relative viscosity of the polyamide grades is measured as well as the melt flow index.

The thermal properties of the materials are determined by analytical test methods such as DSC and TGA. Melting point, crystallization point and glass transition temperatures are calculated from the amount of heat given to the material by DSC. By TGA, the amount of decomposition of the material is calculated by giving nitrogen gas to the material. Thus, the proportions of materials in the compound with different decomposition temperatures are characterized.
