Modification of Polystyrene by compounding with glass fiber, mineral fillers and other additives produces a substantial change in the properties of the polymer resin and gives to compositions based on Tisren® PS the following properties:

- Good impact resistance,
- Easy processing,
- Excellent aesthetical properties.
- Flame retardant compound with halogen and halogen free,
- UL94 V-2 or V-0 classifications,
- Glow wire flammability index,
- Glow wire ignition behavior (no flame),
- Low smoke density.
