METAL DETECTABLE COMPOUNDS

Restriction of foreign objects during the preservation and packaging of food plays a fundamental role in ensuring plastic contamination in food.

Plastics defined as “metal detectable” produced with additives that make them recognizable by metal detectors. Risk and liability can be minimized by using metal detectors throughout the production process. Scrapers, buckets, ladles, shovels, tools, knife handles and conveyors are equipment that must be manufactured from detectable materials when used in a food preparation environment.

Our detectable grades can often be molded in the same tools as conventional products to minimize development and production costs.
